The journey started small: a few machines, a handful of farmers, and a big vision. Realising that while farmers had the will to grow more, they lacked the resources. The model expanded from simple machine rentals to a 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 -seeds, fertilisers, pest control, expert advisory, and crucially, closing the gap between harvest & income, by collaborating with agri-buyers, we offered price visibility & assured offtake, improving farmer incomes. Managing farmer data, local yield intelligence, and seasonal forecasting, we helped farmers plan for both production & profit. The early days tested our resilience: limited capital, fragmented landholdings, & mistrust of agri-services. Yet, through grit & deep rural engagement, we grew from 𝟏 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟎+ 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, serving 𝟏𝟑,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ farmers with end-to-end solutions. Ramshree Kumar, a hardworking farmer from Lakhisarai, Bihar, was caught in the same frustrating loop every season — delays, local monopolies, outdated equipment, and shrinking productivity. 🛑𝘽𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙭: A Broken and Biased System Each season, Ramshree struggled to get timely access to basic equipment. He would visit multiple implement owners, pleading for availability—only to be ignored or sidelined. "Bade kisaan" controlled the system but didn't even own advanced implements like drones and rotavators. 🔸 Peak-time exploitation was common—prices were inflated, and smaller farmers like Ramshree were dropped if someone paid more. 🔸 Delays weren't just 2–3 days—it stretched to 10–15 days, directly hitting his yield and income. 🔸Bade kisaan" (big farmers) held control, yet they didn't have advanced implements like drones or high-quality machines. "They'd lie that the tractor was booked, but the truth was, if a bigger farmer showed up, we were pushed down the list." Ramshree knew the system was unfair. But what choice did he have? ✅ 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐱: A System That Worked for Him Then came Agrix. Ramshree met the Agrix field team at a cluster—level farmer meeting and opened up about years of struggle. That day changed everything. 📲 Tractor, sprayer, and harvester bookings were confirmed within minutes, at fair rates, with complete transparency. 🕒 He got a fixed time slot—no more guesswork or follow-ups. 🧑‍🌾 On-ground advisory supported him with seed selection, nutrition planning, and timely spraying. 📦 He also accessed quality inputs and battery sprayers — arranged locally via Agrix's partner network. During this Kharif season, Team Agrix is tirelessly working 15-16 hours a day to meet the high demands of small and marginal farmers across Bihar for land preparation and high-quality agri-inputs. Our founding team is also on the ground, ensuring farmers' needs are met effectively. We are mechanizing 80-100 acres daily, with our tractors and multiple attachments operating over 15 hours to fulfill the growing orders from various channels. We remain optimistic for a good monsoon and healthy crops, committed to enhancing farmers' livelihoods.

This short-duration cropping window occurs between the Kharif and Rabi seasons and is ideal for crops like moong (green gram). As a result, a significant portion of the agricultural calendar has been underutilised until now. Agrix is working to change this by providing timely access to mechanisation and quality inputs, enabling farmers to make the most of the Zaid season. This initiative is significantly boosting farmers' yields and promoting sustainable land use. A key component of this transition is Agrix's harvesting machinery and comprehensive support system, which facilitates timely harvesting and access to quality agri-inputs. This not only reduces post-harvest losses but also enhances crop turnaround. Additionally, easy access to mechanisation improves operational efficiency while lowering labour burdens and costs. The results are impressive—farmers are experiencing a 30–40% increase in annual yields. They also build greater resilience in their farming systems by improving crop diversity and soil health with nitrogen-fixing legumes like moong. This achievement goes beyond just increasing yields; it represents a crucial step toward sustainable intensification, inclusive rural development, and long-term agricultural transformation—all made possible with the support of Agrix.
